1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by MGS Heating and Cooling, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Description

MGS Heating and Cooling provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services to residential and commercial properties in Suffolk County, New York. Our services include but are not limited to installation, repair, maintenance, and emergency services for HVAC systems.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

When scheduling service appointments, we strive to provide accurate time estimates. However, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally lead to delays. We will make every effort to notify you if there will be a significant delay in service.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

4. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates for installation, repair, or maintenance work are based on our assessment of the scope of work required. While we strive for accuracy, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally necessitate additional work and costs. We will obtain your approval before proceeding with any additional work that significantly exceeds the original estimate.

Emergency service calls outside of regular business hours, on weekends, or on holidays may be subject to different pricing terms, which will be disclosed at the time of scheduling.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service for most repair and maintenance work. For installation projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Financing options may be available for larger projects through our financing partners.

Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may incur a late fee. Returned checks will be subject to a return check fee.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

All new equipment installations come with manufacturer warranties, the terms of which will be provided at the time of installation. MGS Heating and Cooling provides a labor warranty on installations and repairs, as specified in your service agreement.

Warranty coverage may be voided if equipment is serviced by unauthorized persons, damaged by misuse, or not maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.

Our maintenance plans provide additional warranty benefits as specified in the plan documentation.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to all areas where work is to be performed. This includes securing pets, removing obstacles, and ensuring that work areas are safe.

Customers are responsible for regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters according to manufacturer recommendations between professional maintenance visits.

8. Liability Limitations

MGS Heating and Cooling is not responsible for damages caused by pre-existing conditions, system failures during extreme weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.

Our liability is limited to the scope of work performed and does not extend to consequential damages such as property damage from system failures unless directly caused by our negligence.

9. Service Area

Our service area includes all of Suffolk County, NY. Service outside this area may be available on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional travel fees.

10. Changes to Terms

MGS Heating and Cooling reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
